The funnel-shaped bowl decorated with a standing maiden and three gallant male admirers in a garden, surrounded by scrolling flowerbranches, the reverse inscribed: Weg mitt falschen Complimenten. die nur zu betrugen dencken (Away with false compliments which only lead to deceit), on a facetted multi-knopped stem enclosing an elongated tear, on domed folded foot
