A Saxon-engraved friendship goblet and a cover
First half 18th century
(Freundschaftsdeckelpokal) the trumpet bowl engraved with floral cartouche depicting two periwigged gentlemen shaking hands and holding a tiny Deckelpokal, inscribed: Gott spare uns gesund (Gods keeps us healthy), the lower part cut with roundels, upon a knopped and a balustroid section, the conical foot with foliage, the domed cover en suite, with facetted spire finial
