With carved heart-shaped face, small nose above flared panel, applied hemispherical eyes, lateral flanges with embossed tufts below, the metal panels with grooved borders to face and flanges, iron rings about the neck, the pierced lenticular body with embossed metal panels, the reverse with carved lenticular motif in relief

Perrois (L., Arts du Gabon, Arnouville, 1979, Pl.208) illustrates a similar reliquary figure which he attributes to the southern Kota and classes it as type IV.
