Circa 1745, the top reshaped and associated to the later carved base
The dished circular tilt-top with pie-crust edge over a birdcage and spreading drapery-hung columnar stem with ring-turned base, on berried laurel-headed cabriole legs with talon and ball feet, both top and base with red chalk inscription 580, bearing the circular British Antique Dealers Association printed label
