The following collection comprises just a small section of the greater collection of a Swedish businessman who is passionate about wine. He is in the process of moving house and feels the need to streamline his burgeoning collection affording us the opportunity to offer a wide range of interesting lots from diverse regions.
All the wines have been stored since original purchase in excellent professional cellarage in Bordeaux and have been shipped to Christie's London Warehouse specially for the sale. The owner's particular passion is for fine white Alsatian wines and the Alsace section of the sale is the most comprehensive to be offered at auction for many years, some of the best cuvées from top domaines being available in quantity. All of the Alsatian wines were bought direct from source and the majority are presented in original wooden cases or original cartons. We are pleased to offer the opportunity to sample many of these great white wines (and others) and hope that you will be able to join us for the pre-sale tasting
