AN ETRUSCAN BRONZE KNEELING FIGURE
Circa 5th Century B.C.
Wearing a short tunic decorated with stamped circles and inverted V's at the hem, X's along the collar and circles at the edge of the sleeves, depicted in a "Knielauf" position, his torso turned to the right, the left arm raised, palm open, the right arm behind him, the fisted hand possibly once holding a now missing object, with large convex almond-shaped eyes, the hair with incised parallel lines
