A CAMPANIAN RED-FIGURED HYDRIA
Circa 330-320 B.C.
With a draped woman between two youthful warriors, the woman walking right but looking back, wearing a chiton and a sakkos, and holding a tambourine, her flesh in added white, both warriors wearing a mantle pinned in front and draped over the shoulders, with fillets in their hair and pilos helmets hanging behind, the warrior to the left with his hands on the woman's waist and leg, the warrior to the right standing before her with his head turned back, extending his right hand, with two spears in his left hand; a band of wave below, dotted laurel with a central rosette on the shoulders, vertical lines below ovolo on the neck, a band of wave on the rim, and a palmette complex below the handle
