A French ormolu cartel clock, late 18th or early 19th century
The circular white enamel Roman and Arabic dial inscribed LE NEPVEU, PARIS, with rocaille pierced gilt pointers, the waisted case modelled with central lion mask below the dial and draped with a lion's pelt, the dial flanked by tapering pilasters with rams' masks below a twin handled and swagged flambeau urn finial, the twin train movement with countwheel and bell strike
