A REGENCY MAHOGANY AND BRASS MOUNTED SECRETAIRE ABATTANT
Attributable to S JAMAR, the rectangular top and a moulded edge with cavetto frieze applied with anthemion ornament, the fall front centred by an Apollo and laurel leaf garland applied with a lock engraved HOBBS & CO LONDON, LEVER MACHINE MADE inset on the reverse with a panel of tooled green leather enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon holes above an arched open recess flanked by four drawers containing two long drawers below enclosed by panelled doors applied with ribbon tied laurel garlands on plinth base with floral ornament on square block feet
