Lot Essay

This fine example combines two desirable complications - the minute repeat mechanism and the split second chronograph. The watch is further enhanced by the fine red and blue enamel monogram which reads, 'ABT'. This monogram was done for the original owner of the watch as the engraving to the cuvette reads, 'No. 111631 Made for Ashley Bemis Tower 1899 by Patek Philippe & Co. Geneva'.
