A WORCESTER TAPERING HEXAGONAL TWO HANDLED VASE AND COVER
Circa 1770
Painted with floral sprays, butterflies and ladybirds, the female handles suspending ribbon tied flower garlands above a band of applied scrolls, the base with moulded stiff leaves, domed cover, painted with various birds in flight and a puce bennied finial (both handles, ribbons and finial restored and repainted, chips and losses to flowers, leaves and ribbons, one shell mis-shapen)
