A DERBY FIGURE GROUP OF A PAIR OF LOVERS AND AN ATTENDANT
Circa 1790
The seated embracing couple, he wearing a floral yellow coat and orange breeches, she wearing a ribboned hat, a floral bodice, green skirt and floral yellow underskirt with a black dog on her lap, the attendant offering a tea-cup on a tray, wearing purple floral and striped jacket and multicoloured striped breeches, raised on a flower encrusted C-scroll base, hightlighted in green and gilt, (firing cracks through base and the seated figures, chips to her skirt, hat, leaves and flowers, loss at attendant's finger)
