The thinly-carved vessel of unusual beaker shape with narrow waisted neck, the flat shoulder with two openwork flower-and-leaf handles suspending loose rings, carved around the body in shallow relief with archaistic taotie masks and pendant floral motifs, the domed cover with a lotus finial, the highly polished stone of even pale grey-green tone with scattered moss inclusions
