The soup-plates brightly enamelled with a coat-of-arms and the motto NIGRA SUM SED below chain pattern in the well and floral festoons at the border below shaped rims; a plate with the arms of Alvarez de Bohorques of Castille, Spain, below chain-pattern and floral sprays; and another, with accollée coats-of-arms of Chieff of Liege, three fritted
all 9 in. (22.7 cm.) diam. (4)

Lot Essay
