SCOTLAND -- The Court of the most illustrious and most magnificent James, the first; King of Great-Britaine, France, and Ireland: &c., London: Edward Griffin, 1620. Small 4°, woodcut headpieces, ornamental initials, with the first blank (short clean tear in Y3 affecting a few letters of headline, occasional spotting), contemporary limp vellum, covers panelled in gilt with fleurons at inner corners and James I's arms at centre, larger arms of the Signet library added above and below, flat gilt spine in compartments (a few small stains, lacking ties). STC 1023.
