2°, engraved frontispiece, woodcut portraits, initials and decorations (frontispiece washed and pressed, portraits on 3G1-3 slightly shaved at outer margin, a few closed marginal tears, occasional soiling), contemporary red morocco gilt by F. Bedford, gilt edges (spine rubbed).
FIRST EDITION of the collected works, omitting only a small number which had been previously published. Grolier Wither to Prior III, 862; STC 23725.
