The long spear point blade, marked at ricasso CAST STEEL/SHEFFIELD under the Royal Crown and VR, with etched panel of an American Eagle holding a riband VIRTUE, LIBERTY & INDEPENDENCE within a scroll surround, German-silver cross guard, horn grip scales with German-silver rivets and shield escutcheon, brown leather sheath with gilt decorations of scrolls and borders, German-silver tip (damaged) and throat with stud
9 7/8 inch (25.1cm.) blade
Blade tipped and reformed, etched panel bright but with some wear, sheath with wear and some abrasions, tip damaged as noted
