A pupil of Carlo Dolci and Baldassare Franceschini. Many drawings by Marinari are in the Biblioteca Marucelliana.
The Second Viscount Bearsted M.C. was a Trustee of the National Gallery, London, between 1936-43, and again 1947-8, and the Tate Gallery, London, between 1938-42.
