A pair of Vienna style claret-ground Napoleonic plates
one painted with a wounded Napoleon at Ratisbonne, the other with Napoleon holding out his hands to his son taking his first steps, titled to the reverse Napoléon blessé devant Ratisbonne, the other with Les premiers pas du Roi de Rome, the border gilt with scrolling foliage within yellow and pink-ground panels between pale-blue bands, gilt rim, blue beehive mark, late 19th century (some rubbing to gilding) -- 24cm. wide
