A carved red lacquer lobed dish
Qianlong sealmark and of the period.
with shallow sides and gilt metal bound foliate rim, carved in high relief with scholars and immortals in a palatial setting among mountains and trees with further immortals amongst cloud scrolls, the reverse with lotus flowers on a diaper ground surrounding a central square gilt inset sealmark within a key-fret borders -- 7 5/8in. (19.3cm.) wide, (splits and minor chips).
