Qianlong sealmark and of the period
of oblong octagonal form, inset to the exterior with seven shaped mirror panels, painted with bands of scrolling lotus and panels of butterflies among flowers between bands of stylised dragons and lotus petals, the rim with a key-fret band, pewter liner -- 13¼in. (33.6cm.) wide, (small area of restoration).
