A Tibetan gilt copper repousse portable altar table
18th century
of rectangular form with tapering shaped hinged sides, decorated with panels of beast heads, bats and flower sprays on scrolling foliate grounds, the rim with bands of lotus petals, the top with a central panel of three flowerheads within a reticulated swastika pattern border -- 19½in. (49.5cms) long x 11½i. (29cms) high, (gilt rubbing, slight damage).
