HARLAN

Harlan Estate was founded in 1984 with the vision to build and establish one of the finest winegrowing estates in America. Bill Harlan's obsession with quality is evident in every aspect of the Harlan Estate wines. The 1997 vintage produced the highest yields to date, a modest 2.7 tons per acre, however the wine produced is intense, complex and with abundant richness.

Napa Valley
"The sensational fragrance (coffee, smoked herbs, nuts, crème de cassis, plum liqueur and pain grillé) is more intense and forthcoming than any previous Harlan Estate vintage. The tannin is silky, and the wine is stunningly concentrated and proportioned, but on a faster evolutionary track than its siblings" Robert Parker, Wine Buyer's Guide, Fifth Edition
