PETER MICHAEL WINERY
British electronics entrepreneur Peter Michael purchased his Knights Valley Ranch in 1982 after becoming convinced that California could produce wines as fine as any in the world. Two decades later he has done more than his share to prove this point. His single vineyard and special cuvée chardonnays, of which Point Rouge is the finest and rarest, rank at the very top of any connoisseur's list. Les Pavots, the winery's Cabernet based blend, has likewise performed brilliantly in recent vintages.
