"This vineyard was orginally planted in 1975. In 1991, Ren and Marilyn Harris bought the property and established the Paradigm label for limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfandel. Located in Oakville, the vineyard has 50.5 acres in vines; most of the grapes are sold to other wineries. Heidi Peterson Barrett (Screaming Eagle, Grace Family Vineyard, Oakford, La Sirena) is winemaker here, and Cabernet production is in the 2,500-case range. Quality has been increasingly high.
