AN ELM AND ASH HIGHBACKED OPEN ARMCHAIR, LOWLAND SCOTLAND, LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY
with an eared toprail, the pierced splat and shaped scrolled arms on turned supports, the right arm with a hinged shelf, the solid seat and square tapering legs joined by stretchers (seat probably replaced) See Illustration
