A French gilt-bronze striking mantel clock, last quarter 19th century
The case surmounted by a swag-hung urn with rams' mask handles, with demonic masks to the sides, over quatrefoil panels, and a berried leaf garland above the white enamel Roman dial, steel moon hands, the inverted breakfront base raised on foliate-capped toupie feet, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 17¼in. (44cm.) high
