A giltwood four poster bed, possibly Italian, late 19th/early 20th century
each bed post decorated with a foliate conifer finial above a combination of gadrooned knops, foliate scroll work and acanthus moulding above a lower ribbon swag frieze on acanthus carved baluster legs with block feet joined by moulded and ribbon swag rails, slight losses to gilding throughout -- 61in.
