A Meissen cabaret
Circa 1755, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummer 53 to saucer and gilder's z. to tray
Painted with scattered vegetables, flower-sprays and fruit about bouquets with vegetables and flowers below shaped borders of puce and pink brick ornament edged with gilt foliage scrolls, gilt dentil rims, comprising:

An oviform teapot and cover (slight footrim chip, minute chipping to finial and terminal)
A bucket-shaped sugar-bowl and cover
A cylindrical tea-cup and angular saucer (cup with small restored rim chip and restored footrim chip)
An oval tray with shaped rim (very slight rubbing to glaze at centre)
The tray 9 3/8 in. (23.8 cm.) wide (4)
