A Chinese pale jade snuff bottle
18th Century and later
of slightly flattened spade shape, carved in relief with fish swimming amongst lotus flowers, the narrow sides with lion-mask and fixed-ring handles, coral stopper carved with a guei dragon -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) high; another pale jade snuff bottle of flattened round shape and plain decoration, jadeite stopper -- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high; and a lime green porcelain snuff bottle, of flattened pear shape, incised with confronting dragons amongst cloud scrolls, stopper, the base with incised sealmark -- 3 1/8in. (8cm.) high, (minor rubbing and wear).
