the flat shaped blade with a groove, tempered edge midare, signed Kunihisa, with tokubetsu kicho certificate -- 31.5cm long; in a black lacquer scabbard, the hilt wrapped in shark skin, with gilded crab menuki and shakudo kozuka with Tokugawa crests.
