A Silver-Mounted Arab Saif, And An Imperial German Artillery Officer's Sword
Both 19th Century
The first with fullered single-edge blade (polished bright, minor pitting) with etched decoration on both sides of the forte, and horn hilt with engraved silver quillons, in associated leather-covered wooden scabbard; the second with slightly shortened single-edged blade with etched decoration including the German imperial eagle on one side, cast and chased brass hilt, and shagreen-covered wooden grip, in shortened iron scabbard (chape replaced, in worn condition throughout)
