Second quarter of the 18th Century
With straight flattened blade stamped with King's head marks on each side of the forte and 'Andrea' on one side, and 'Farara' on the other, iron guard of bars rounded at the front involving stylised fleurs-de-lys and an oval panel at the centre, the rear quillon stamped 'WA/S', bun-shaped pommel with button, and spirally fluted shagreen-covered wooden grip
