Lot Essay

The whole armour laced in white and heavily mounted with gilded copper kanamono with a mon mounted on a yellow and blue brocade. The helmet bowl is of late Kamakura period (early 14th century) and the shinguards are 17th century. The rest of the armour Meiji period.
