A very fine model of a British ship of the line. The hull of the model is built up with a wood core and planked with bone to the waist, the waist and strakes are planked in baleen, and the decks are planked in bone. These include: a polychromed figurehead, anchors with bone stocks, fife rails, balconies, water barrels, windlass, deck rings, deck grating over hatches, ships boat swung out over stern on davits, rudder and numerous other details.
