St. Carlo Borromeo giving Alms to the Poor

Pierre-Louis Dumesnil le Jeune was born into a family of painters residing in Paris. Little is known of his life except that he was a professor and director in the Academie de Saint-Luc, where he exhibited from 1751 to 1774.
