A RARE WUCAI JAR, GUAN
JIAJING SIX-CHARATER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD


Painted in a free hand with pairs of phoenix and cranes in flight amid floral sprigs and scrolling clouds, between ruyi-heads issuing from continuous vines above and jagged rocks and cresting waves below (gold lacquered chips and body cracks)--5 5/8in. (14.3cm.) high
