The lower section carved with nine petal-shaped cartouches each containing a single flower spray above a band of upturned lappets, the domed foot with similar inverted lappets, the central domed section imitating a lotus pod and issuing a lobed cylindrical stem surmounted by a matching cover, carved on the sloping shoulder with lappets and terminating in a lotus pod finial, the semi-translucent stone of slightly mottled tone (finial extremity minutely chipped)--6in.
