Each resting on its haunches, modelled with bulging eyes under curled brow and mane, with flared snout and jaw opened wide exposing teeth and tongue, the muscular chest with a taotie collar dangling tassels and double-gourd bells, one with paw resting on a brocade ball, the other on a cub, the elaborate rectangular stands decorated with shou characters bats and lotus scrolls, and draped with a diaper-pattern cloth (minor losses to enamel repaired)--22½in.
