IRON-RED QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD
Delicated enamelled to the vertical sides with Immortals and Sages in contemplation and conversation within a montainous landscape, beside a stream and below pine and prunus trees, several holding auspicious emblems, including ruyi, peach, finger citrus, lingzhi and one with a bat landing in his outstreched hand, the base, shoulder and neck with a dense floral meander reserved on a violet-blue ground, divided by a pair of stylized dragon handles in iron-red and gilt, the flared foot with a key-fret band, the interior and base glazed turquoise --13 1/4in. (33.6cm.) high
