A RARE PAIR OF DATED IMPERIAL SILVERED PUSHOU DOOR HANDLES
DATED GENGWU CORRESPONDING TO 1750
Each cast as bold and dramatic horned taotie in crisp relief suspending loose rings from their rounded beaks, cast with the cyclical dates, Qianlong zaobanchu made in the Imperial Qianlong workshop, changchunyuan, yulinglong guan, taojia shuwu made to be placed in the taojia library within the yulinglong pavilion of the Changchun Palace, the reverse with long hooks and rods for attachement--10 1/4in.
