cover 1902 (20 Aug) Queen's Hotel envelope to London bearing "C.I.P." 4c. tied by "MA TAU WEI HAI WEI" double-ring c.d.s. in violet, the envelope is endorsed "By British Post Office" but sent throught the French Post Office and bears a good strike of bilingual "DUE "6" CENTS" and other tax marks; the envelope is defective and partially repaired, nevertheless a scarce item of much appeal.
