A PAIR OF ORMOLU-MOUNTED SÈVRES STYLE GREEN-GROUND TUREENS AND COVERS

Each modelled after the Sèvres original, richly painted with fruit and flowers within elaborately chased gilt cartouches, the artichoke finial now covered with a gilt-bronze model of a dragon perched on rocks attacking a snake, the side handles with similar dragons, the feet as dolphins their tails entwined, a gallery pierced with putti slaying dragons and screaming animal masks between the cover and tureen, raised on a canted rectangular base with paterea at each corner
