The shaped ovoid bowl inset with a liner and decorated with scrolling foliage and rosettes in colors on a yellow ground, flanked by angular handles ending in scrolling foliage and garlands framing the facade of the body, on a similarly decorated waisted plinth applied with leaf-tips and garlands on square feet, raised on a square base with beaded borders framing similar decoration, on toupie feet, inscribed F. Barbedienne
