The inro fashioned as an overflowing sake jar, designed in gold, silver, and red takamaki-e and hiramaki-e with a dancing Shojo and a sake ladle and cup above a continuous border of rocks and cresting waves of gold and silver embellished with kirigane, the neck, rim and mouth of the jar designed in togidashi and nashiji, interior cases nashiji; fitted with a lacquered bead ojime and an ivory netsuke carved as a shishi and two cubs, signed Gyokuseki--3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) high
