Of rectangular form raised on four trefoil feet and with scrolling, silver lined aprons, the sides pierced with medallions, also silver lined, enclosing a two-tiered box and cover decorated on the exterior in gold and silver takamaki-e, hiramaki-e, togidashi and kirigane with pavilions and cottages by streams in a landscape of blooming cherry, the interior of the box and undersides of the cabinet nashiji, fitted with silver corner braces, the upper corners with hanging silk tassles--5 1/8 x 2¾ x 3¾in. (13.1 x 7 x 9.6cm.)
