Paula and Max Ingrand were among the Parisian designers of engraved mirrors or glass used as decorative elements in restaurants and private apartments. The Ingrands, whose work was found in America and England, in addition to France, experimented with painted, acid-etched or sandblasted patterns which vividly enhanced the mirrored surface.
