Rectangular, the outer border of ribbon-tied palmettes, with white guilloché enamel ground, applied with four gold-rimmed shaped cornerpieces of royal blue guilloché enamel, and four gold rosettes at intervals, the oval portrait miniature of Edith McCormick within beaded bezel, the frame surmounted by a vari-color gold basket with floral and foliate swags suspended, with similar swags beneath the miniature, on two partly reeded feet, the ivory back with triangular strut, marked on lower rim and strut, in original velvet and silk-lined wooden box, the cover stamped in Russian 'Fabergé St Petersburg Moscow' with Imperial warrant, and applied with the original printed label with the inventory number and price '200 rubles' in manuscript
