ONE OF TWO COPIES KNOWN. The only other known copy of this edition of Guido de Baysio's commentary on canon law appears to be a copy in the Vatican Library. The first edition was printed in Milan in 1490; later editions are recorded in Pavia 1511, Lyon 1534 and 1547, and Venice 1577 and 1606. Guido de Baysio (d. 1313) was archdeacon of the Cathedral of Bologna, where he taught canon law.
