Very rare geographical world survey containing an early English account of America, published at the beginning of the English age of exploration. The last 3 chapters recount the earliest Portuguese, French, English and Spanish explorations of North and South America. STC lists 7 copies of this true first edition (a second edition by the same printers appeared in the same year). No copies appear to have been sold at auction in the past half-century.
